Brief History and Locations:
  This is an Asian-American owned National Bank, with full FDIC insurance coverage, located in Houston, Texas.  The bank was formed by 6 organizers in August 1997 and opened for business on May 18, 1998. The main facility is located at 9999 Bellaire Blvd., near the southeast corner of the intersection on Beltway 8 and Bellaire Blvd. in Houston. This site was chosen because of its proximity to the highly concentrated Asian-American community located along Bellaire Blvd. corridor.  The current facility is located in a 12-story building and the Bank occupies the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 12th Floors of the building.   Besides the main branch, there are 3 more branches in the Houston area including the First Colony branch, Harwin branch and Long Point branch.  In the Dallas area, the Bank has 3 branches including the Richardson branch, Harry-Hines branch and Plano branch.  In addition, we are constructing a new Katy branch, which is expected to open in the middle of August of this year.
 
Information on our Management:
 

The management of American First National Bank consists of 12 members of the Board of Directors. Henry Wu is the Chairman of the Board, and Bruce Chang is the President and CEO. Mr. Wu has been a Chairman of the Board previously for several years at Texas First National Bank and Mr. Chang has been an executive officer at prior banking facilities with over 22 year of banking experience. The other members for the Board are Mr. Cheng Yuan Kao, Vice Chairman, Mr. Andy Chien, Mr. Hashim Lakhany, Mr. Ronnie Miller, Mr. Steven Sun, Mr. George Tseng, Mrs. Chong-Huey Wang, Mr. Wen-Chuan Chen, Mr. Ray Chang and Mr. Paul Cheng.  The Board of Directors is actively involved in the overall management of the bank by ensuring that adequate internal controls and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations are met. The Chairman and President & CEO have the responsibility for the management of all aspects of the company to ensure maximum profits commensurate with the best interest of customers, shareholders, employees and the public. Reporting to Mr. Chang is the Chief Lending Officer, David Wang; Manager of Funds Management, Dawning Ho; the CFO & Cashier, Mike Fann; the Operation Manager, Eleanor Kwan; the Public Relations Manager, Jennie Chang; the BSA Officer, Jeannie Lam; and the Internal Audit Manager, Michael Klobosits.  All these officers are very experienced in the operation or leading area and are committed to the excellence in managing their area. 

 
Banking Services
  The staff of American First National Bank is primarily Asian-American and are able to offer to the community the ability to speak many different languages. The major bank services are 1. Demand deposit services including checking accounts, money market accounts and NOW accounts. 2. Time and saving deposit services including regular savings, money market savings, certificates of deposit and IRA's. 3. Loans for businesses and consumers, including working capital, commercial construction, real estate, home improvement, automobiles, personal use and others. 4. Trade financing including letters of credit, international wire, collection, and bill discounts. 5. Other services include remote deposit, ACH, safe deposit box, domestic wiring, cashier checks, money orders, ATM, and Notary. We have an experienced International Banking Department to provide the necessary international banking services. We also have correspondent relationships with most of the major banks in the world in order to facilitate the international transactions. Our involvement in the community is extensive and we have an active Officer Call program. We provide speakers, when called upon to do so, to address local schools, businesses and civic organizations regarding the services offered by American First.
 
Financial Position
